Ubley Parish Hall will be alive with the memories of Elizabeth, a Somerset land girl, from 1940 to the present day: ‘No Finer Life’ - a play by The Archer’s Graham Harvey, reflecting our timeless relationship with the land and national identity. Tickets include after show discussion with Graham Harvey.

CPRE Avonside will be at the Brackenwood Garden Centre annual craft and art fair on the weekend of the 18th-19th November.

CPRE Avonside’s Leslie Forrest will speak at a public meeting of the Thornbury Residents Against Poorly Planned Development on Friday 24th November, 7.15, Armstrong Hall.

We look forward to hearing her speak about the benefits of campaigning and volunteers, the pressures on the countryside and Green Belt, and the challenges of transport and congestion in the area. Book here...
