Future of Farming Post BREXIT: CPRE Avonside AGM and talk

Wednesday, 02 November 2016 13:52

Saturday 12 November at the Sawmill, Tyntesfield

Farms aren’t just for food. Good farming helps to look after our landscapes, wildlife and environment.

We think the Government should recognise and reward the functions of farming that go beyond food production; functions which are vital not just for farming, but for all of us. Locally, we want to make sure that our countryside and green spaces are protected so that we can continue to enjoy and benefit from beautiful local landscapes, and enjoy the food that is produced locally.

CPRE's farming and food Campaigner, Graeme Willis, will talk about his new Farming Foresight paper (download below). This will be a fascinating insight into some of the options we are faced with post BREXIT. There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion at the end. To find out more read our new Farming Foresight paper and come along to this talk for a fascinating discussion. For more details of the event please download the AGM programme (download below).
